Auburn teacher honored for teaching excellence

The Daughters of the American Revolution recently honored Tori T. Ammons, an Auburn Mountainview High School history teacher for her work in the classroom, during a ceremony at a DAR conference in Bellevue.

The Daughters of the American Revolution recently honored Tori T. Ammons, an Auburn Mountainview High School history teacher for her work in the classroom, during a ceremony at a DAR conference in Bellevue.

Ammons was honored for her excellence in teaching American, state and world history. She has a passion for history and often dresses up in era clothing to bring authenticity to her classroom. She brings history to life and makes it important and relevant to each student’s life.
