Auburn High School’s 26th annual Veterans Day Marching Band Competition unfolds Nov. 10 at Auburn Memorial Stadium’s Troy Field, 800 4th St. NE.
The Auburn High School Band and Choir Parents host the all-day event, from 1 to 10 p.m., featuring some of the best high school marching band music, precision marching and drill formation performances.
More than 30 of the finest high school marching bands from Washington, Oregon and Idaho will compete in this year’s parade and field show competition.
Among those are bands expected to compete are schools from as far away as Clarkston, Spokane, Kennewick, Wenatchee, Yakima, Bellingham, Ferndale, the Kitsap Peninsula, Everett, Marysville, Sultan, Lacey, Montesano, and Portland and Hermiston, Ore.
Ticket prices for all-day admission are: $15 adults; $10 students (ages 6-18); $10 seniors (62 and older); $10 military with active ID; $15 college students.
Proceeds benefit the Auburn High School Band and Choir programs.
Gates open at noon with the first performance starting at 1.
Handicap parking and seating are available in the stadium’s fully covered grandstand bleachers.
