Starting on Wednesday, March 22, through approximately Oct. 31, construction work on South 277th Street will require intermittent lane restrictions between Auburn Way North and L Street NE from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The work is dependent on weather.

One flagged travel lane in each direction will be maintained, but delays should be expected and alternate routes are advised. Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be open during construction activities.

• On Thursday, March 23, 2017 roadway paving associated with the construction of the Merrill Gardens Project will require daytime lane restrictions on A Street SE, 1st Street SE and 2nd Street SE. Work on A Street SE and 2nd Street SE will not start until after 8:30 a.m. to accommodate the morning commute traffic. However, the paving work will cause congestion and delays throughout the downtown area from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., please plan accordingly. This work is dependent on having dry weather and will be re-scheduled if there is significant rainfall.

• On Thursday, March 23, 2017, D Street NE from 49th Street NE to South 277th Street will be closed to through traffic for construction activities for the South 277th Street Corridor Capacity and Non-Motorized Trail Improvements project. The work is dependent on weather. Signed detour routes will be posted. Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction but delays should be expected.
