The closure of westbound 37th Street Northwest at the BNSF tracks has been delayed and is now anticipated to start on Monday.

The construction of the BNSF Utility Crossings project will require the following roadway closures and parking restriction for construction activities:

• Jan. 12 to Feb. 5: Closure of westbound 37th Street NW from B Street NW to approximately 100 feet west of the BNSF’s railroad tracks. Please see 37th Street detour map (PDF).

• Jan. 14 to Feb. 5: Closure of southbound B Street NW from 42nd Street NW to 37th Street NW. Please see B Street detour map (PDF).

• Jan. 12 to Feb. 5: No parking allowed on the west side of B Street NW from 42nd Street NW to 37th Street NW.

The work is dependent on weather and signed detour routes will be posted.
