Beginning Monday, June 26, construction work will begin on the M Street SE Improvements Project that will require full continuous closure of M Street SE between 3rd Street SE and East Main Street until Sept. 1.

The construction work involves replacing and upgrading deep storm drain and sewer pipes, water main and service lines, new sidewalks and full depth roadway re-construction and paving. During this time, signed detours will be in place.

Vehicular access to residents within the work zone will be maintained. Additional notices will be provided as work progresses. The public’s patience is appreciated as the City works to complete this essential construction project.
