A local street pavement preservation project will begin construction activities on Monday, closing certain sections of D Street Northeast in Auburn to all traffic. Affected areas will be:

• D Street Northeast from East Main Street to alley between East Main/1st Street Northeast.

• D Street Northeast from alley between 1st/2nd Street Northeast NE to alley between 2nd/3rd Street NE.

• D Street Northeast to alley between 4th/3rd Street Northeast.

Construction is expected to take two weeks to complete. The work is weather dependent.

Access to all alleys from D Street Northeast will remain open during construction but it will be necessary to detour around the construction areas. The detour routes will be clearly posted.
