The National Merit Scholarship Corporation recently announced the names of National Merit Commended Students from the Auburn School District.

They are: Willa Richmond, Auburn Mountainview; Cameron Fairchild, Auburn Riverside; and Kevin Harris, Auburn Riverside.

About 34,000 National Merit Commended Students are being recognized throughout the nation for their exceptional academic promise. They all placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2015 competition by taking the 2013 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
