The Auburn Valley YMCA invites kids and families from the community to participate in Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, a national event to promote youth health and wellness.
This year’s event will feature more than 60 different activities for kids, including health and wellness resources for families.
The event, which will take place at the YMCA, 1620 Perimeter Road SW, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is free to the public. The first 100 kids will receive a free T-shirt and the first 300 kids will receive free haircut coupons from Gene Juarez Academy.
More than 1,600 people are expected to attend.
There will be a drawing for a free one-year family membership and many other prizes.
