Auburn Wine Art Music Festival returns to the downtown on July 20.
The Auburn Downtown Association, City of Auburn, City of Auburn Arts, Parks and Recreation Department, and the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce/Tourism present the festival.
“We’re excited about our new location this year,” said program coordinator Kelly Jensen. “In addition to the Wine Art Music Festival, we’ll have the Merchants Market on Main, specialty vendors and other activities.”
The annual Merchant Market on Main and specialty vendor sale runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Auburn Downtown Association merchants will sell their products on the sidewalks between Auburn Way and Auburn Avenue during these hours.
The festival on Saturday begins with family fun, including local food, vendors and children’s dance performances from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
A wine tasting garden will open at 2 p.m. in mural parking lot at the corner of B and Main streets. Wine and beer tasting will go to 10 p.m.
The historical area also will be home to entertainment and fun throughout the day and evening.
The main music stage, sponsored by Iron Horse Casino, presents local bands from 1 to 9:30 p.m. The lineup includes Mark Lewis (jazz) 1-3 p.m.; James King (blues) 4-6:30 p.m.; and $5 Fine (country/pop) 7-9:30 p.m.
Zola’s Café, 402 E. Main, Suite 120, hosts live music from 2-6:30 p.m. The lineup includes Moore of That (folk, American originals) 2-4 p.m. and Charles Mack (rock and blues) 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Val Pak coupons were recently sent to 40,000 homes in the Auburn area. The map on the back of the Val Pak ad will display several local restaurants participating in “Wine Bites” with options ranging from lasagna to seafood.
