Auburn’s Relay for Life needs help.

Organizers are seeking individuals to fill positions on the event’s committee. The group will kick off efforts with a committee meeting from 6-7 p.m. Feb. 9 at Messiah Lutheran Church, located at 410 H St. NE, Auburn.

The Relay For Life will run from 6 p.m. May 13 to noon May 14 at Auburn Memorial Stadium, 801 4th St. NE.

According to Ashley Thordarson, media relations chairperson for the relay, the committee needs a sponsor, event and lumeunria chairperson.

“We also would like to make it known to the Auburn community that we appreciate what they do each month to support cancer research,” Thordarson said.
