The Barkfest & Rover Romp 3K and 5K Run/Walk – Auburn Valley Humane Society’s annual fundraiser – invaded Roegner Park last Saturday.

Proceeds support the AVHS and its efforts to help homeless and abandoned pets in Auburn.

The event included a pet owner/pet look-alike contest; best pet costume contest; prize basket drawings; vendors, entertainment, demonstrations and food.
