Bartell Drugs will offer free health screenings at its Auburn store, 3902 A Street SE, on Feb. 26. The screenings are part of the store’s continued commitment to health and wellness programs for its customers. The screenings are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Provided in conjunction with One Touch, Nature Made and administered by CIA Health Screenings, the screenings provide customers with immediate on-site results for blood glucose levels, total HDL and LDL (“good” and “bad”) cholesterol and blood pressure.
According to Lori Evenetz, vice president of operations with CIA Health Screenings, individuals with test results that indicate potential health risks will be advised to visit their regular physician.
“We are extremely pleased to offer these screenings because the results can provide our customers with important front-line indicators in the fight against diabetes, heart disease and stroke,” said George D. Bartell, chairman and CEO of the family-owned company.
The screenings kick off Monday and are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. For a complete schedule of all 11 stores, visit www.Bartelldrugs.com/community
