The event was organized by Amber Sauve and Samantha Jennings, both friends of Roberts.

Roberts, 23, was killed just before midnight on July 2.

Police documents allege that Seattle resident Marcus Frounfelter, 24, stabbed Roberts during an altercation at 909 6th St. SE. The Auburn police affidavit of probable cause said Roberts intervened to break up a fight between Frounfelter’s aunt and her live-in boyfriend and was stabbed in the chest. The King County Medical Examiner reported that Roberts died of a single stab wound to the heart.

Frounfelter is being held on $1 million bail in the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent. He will be arraigned at 9 a.m. July 19 in courtroom GA.
