Among her other activities, Donnie is secretary/treasurer of Auburn Morning Toastmasters and has earned the rank of Competent Communicator.

She will be a featured speaker during the Literary Adventures of Auburn Good Ol’ Days, held in the Auburn Avenue Theater, Saturday and Sunday.

She’ll join some of the areas most sought-after authors and poets. Donnie will take the stage on Saturday at 3 p.m. The title of her recital is, “I Am a Phenomenal Woman, and I Am Not Giving My Black Back.” A flash history of black culture.
