The Puget Sound Blood Center has scheduled a blood drive at Auburn Regional Medical Center in the conference rooms on the third floor from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

During summer the blood center experiences a 20-percent drop in blood collections, due to vacations and high school breaks. Yet, a 20-percent increase is in demand for blood.
