Compulsive hoarding is a serious problem affecting millions of Americans, but often hoarders are misunderstood, or live in secret, and can’t find the help they need. Compulsive hoarding is an extremely emotional and difficult disorder, and it is the show’s hope that by sharing the personal stories of its guests it will help others realize they are not alone.

What show producers are looking for:

1. People with hoarding disorder willing to tell their story on camera.

2. People with hoarding disorder motivated to change due to a crisis caused by hoarding – including issues that need to be addressed in the near future.

3. Hoards that affect many relatives, friends and/or neighbors. These individuals will need to appear on camera and share their side of the story.

4. Massive hoards in large houses or properties – no small apartments.
