The artwork of talented watercolor students taking instruction through Jo Anne Iwasaki, a Kent artist, is on display at the Auburn City Hall Gallery through Oct. 31.

The artwork on display ranges from the beginner to the expert and is a delightful range of the qualities of watercolor.

In City Hall Gallery, 30 artists showcase 40 works of art.

The opening reception is 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday. Refreshments are provided.

The gallery, 25 W. Main St., is free and open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
