Residents who live within the city limits of Auburn and have Waste Management or Allied Waste Services for garbage service can recycle their Christmas trees and organic wreaths for no additional cost.
If you live outside of the Auburn city limits (unincorporated King County), contact your garbage and recycling hauler for Christmas tree recycling information.
PICK-UP DATES
Waste Management:
• Single-family, duplex and mobile home parks residents: Pick up will be the week of Jan. 7–11, on your garbage day. Set your trees on the curbside by 7 a.m.
• Multifamily residents: Pick up will be the weeks of Jan. 7-11 and 14-18. Property owner or site manager must call Waste Management, 800-592-9995, to schedule a pickup day and pickup site.
Allied Waste Services:
• Single-family and duplex residents: Pick up will be the week of Jan. 7-11, on your garbage collection day. Set your trees on the curbside by 6 a.m.
Multifamily residents: Pick up will be the week of Jan. 7-11. Property owner or site manager must call Allied Waste Services, 206-682-9735, to schedule a pickup day and pickup site.
GUIDELINES
Tree trunks should be no wider than 4 inches in diameter and must be cut into 3-foot lengths and weigh no more than 65 pounds. each piece. Please remove all garland, tinsel and ornaments; No flocked trees or other debris will be accepted; Limit one tree per household.
