Community open house set for Jacobsen Tree Farm Master Plan

The public is cordially invited to attend an open house to discuss the development of a Master Plan for the Jacobsen Tree Farm site.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Arthur Jacobsen Elementary School, located at 29205 132nd Avenue SE, Auburn, 98092.

The undeveloped property was originally operated as a tree farm by the Jacobsen family, and was transferred to the City of Auburn in 2003. The 30-acre site is located adjacent to the Elementary School and has spectacular views of Mt. Rainier.

The purpose of the open house is to get community input on potential park uses, and design and site planning options for a future park; and answer general questions about the project. This is the second community meeting in the master planning process and information will be presented that represents refined versions of master plan concepts that were shown and discussed at the first open house.
