Sunday’s Drake/Lil Wayne concert at the White River Amphitheatre is expected to create traffic delays on Auburn Way South and other parts of the city.
Amphitheatre and City of Auburn officials advise concert-goers to take alternate routes.
The show begins at 7 p.m., with parking available at 5 p.m. and gates opening at 6 p.m. The show is scheduled to end at 11.
The following routes are suggested:
From the Seattle area:
• I-5 to Hwy 18 East (Exit 142A)
• Hwy 18 East to the Hwy 167 South exit
• Follow signage and proceed onto South/SR 167 Take Hwy 167 South to SR410 East. Follow signage and proceed onto SR 410 East.
• Travel SR 410 through towns of Bonney Lake and Buckley (approx. 15 miles)
• Turn left on 244 Ave. SE to SR 164 (turn is beyond Buckley after you cross the White River).
• Left onto SR 164
• WRA is five miles ahead on the left
From Bellevue/Eastside srea:
• I-405 to SR 169/Maple Valley Hwy (Exit 4)
• Travel SR 169 South through towns of Maple Valley and Black Diamond to SE 400th Street (approx. 22.5 miles)
• Right onto SE 400th to SR164
• Left onto SR 164
• WRA is on the right.
From Tacoma/Kitsap peninsula areas:
• I-5 to Puyallup/River Road (Exit 135)
• Follow SR 167 through Puyallup to SR 410 East
• Travel SR 410 through towns of Bonney Lake and Buckley (approx. 15 miles)
• Turn left on 244th Ave SE to SR 164 (turn is beyond Buckley after you cross the White River)
• Left onto SR 164
• WRA is five miles ahead on the left
From Olympia/Portland areas:
• I-5 to SR 512 (Exit 127)
• Take SR 512 to SR 410 East
• Travel SR 410 through towns of Bonney Lake and Buckley (approx. 15 miles)
• Turn left on 244 Ave. SE to SR 164 (turn is beyond Buckley after you cross the White River)
• Left onto SR 164
• WRA is five miles ahead on the left
