The City of Auburn traffic division, police department and streets division will be working hard in the coming days and weeks to accommodate the extra activities, festivals and traffic.

The City of Auburn traffic division, police department and streets division will be working hard in the coming days and weeks to accommodate the extra activities, festivals and traffic.

The majority of the impacts will be seen on Auburn Way South, the Muckleshoot Casino area and the White River Amphitheatre. Officials want to inform area residents of the upcoming activities so you can plan accordingly for increased traffic and noise.

Construction

• Auburn Way South between Dogwood and Hemlock (daily)

Project is scheduled throughout month of June

• Friday, June 19: Auburn KidsDay (11 a.m.-4 p.m.)

Location: Les Gove Park

Expect higher than normal traffic volumes and noise.

• Friday and Saturday, June 19-20: Fireworks Demonstration (exact time unknown)

Location: Near the Muckleshoot Casino.

Expect higher than normal traffic volumes and noise.

• Saturday, June 20: Concert (2 p.m.-gates open)

Location: White River Amphitheatre

Kube 93 Summer Jam

Expect higher than normal traffic volumes.

Saturday, June 27: Fireworks Show (10 p.m. approximately)

Location: Muckleshoot Casino

Expect higher than normal traffic volumes and noise.

• Tuesday, June 30: Concert (11 p.m.)

Location: White River Amphitheatre

Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival

Expect higher than normal traffic volumes.

City officials encourage residents to expect traffic delays during this time, allow extra time when traveling and to exercise patience. Please use caution around fireworks and obey all local laws and regulations.
