Country music star Jordan Rager to perform at spring fair on Friday

Jordan Rager, a rising country star, performs Friday at the Washington State Spring Fair, part of the 94.1 KMPS Showcase.

Jordan Rager, a rising country star, performs Friday at the Washington State Spring Fair, part of the 94.1 KMPS Showcase.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Showplace Stage. It is free with fair gate admission.

Jordan is most recently known for “Southern Boy,” a song he performed with Jason Aldean, and is on the Broken Bow Record label. His hot video is, “Feels Like One of Them.”

The 94.1 KMPS Showcase at the spring fair has previously included Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Justin Moore, Josh Gracin and Ruthie Collins.

Advance discount gate tickets to the fair are available online at www.thefair.com until Wednesday; and at participating Fred Meyer, Safeway and Albertsons stores in Pierce County and South King County, and South Hill Mall for $7.50 (adults), and $6.50 (students 6-18 years).

Adult gate tickets are $10 at the gate, and students (6-18 years) are $8 at the gate. Children 5 years and under are free. Parking is free in official fair parking lots. Hours are Thursday from 2 to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
