Firefighters fought a brush fire July 12 near Game Farm Wilderness Park in Auburn.

Multiple crews responded to fight and extinguish a brush fire measuring approximately 50 feet by 50 feet, likely resulting from a tree falling into power lines, according to the Valley Regional Fire Authority.

An individual suffered minor injuries resulting from the fire prior to the arrival of the fire department and was transported to the hospital, according to the department.

The fire resulted in the closure of Stuck River Drive at Kersey Way. The fire served no threat to homes, according to the fire department.
