Valley Regional Fire Authority and Kent Fire Department units were dispatched to the report of smoke and flames from the roof of the Auburn Pines Apartments, 515 N Division St., at 5:29 p.m. Tuesday.

First arriving units found smoke showing from one corner unit on the second floor. Firefighters made entry and contained the fire to the unit of origin. The unit was unoccupied at the time and there were no injuries.

The fire is currently under investigation by the South King County Fire Investigation Task Force.
