Auburn community pauses to remember the fallen, honor those who have served

The Auburn community paused Monday to remember the fallen, honor those who have served and those serving in harm’s way today.

Family and friends joined City leaders, veterans and their affiliated organizations in a remembrance ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park, a program courtesy of Auburn Post No. 78.

Earlier Monday, Mountain View Cemetery hosted its traditional memorial ceremony that displayed many American flags on the grounds and each veteran’s gravesite, courtesy of Auburn’s VFW Post 1741.
