The Auburn School District will holds the 13th annual “Beyond High School Night” on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Auburn Riverside High School.
The evening’s program encourages students and parents to explore various post-high school options, such as community and technical colleges, four-year public and private colleges, career training programs, apprenticeship programs and the military services.
Parents and students from district middle schools and high schools are invited to attend this event. Home school and private school students also are welcome.
There will be opportunities to attend break-out sessions on numerous topics beginning at 7 p.m., including how to navigate the admissions process at four-year public and private colleges and universities and community and technical colleges; financial aid; collegiate athletics; and Running Start/Advanced Placement options.
Additionally, over 80 different colleges, universities, career schools, the military services and apprenticeship programs will be available to answer questions and share information.
