Drive-by shooting: Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 26 after receiving a report at approximately 1:50 p.m. regarding a weapons offense. According to the department’s public information log, a drive-by shooting occurred in the 10 block of I Street Southeast in Auburn. Law enforcement collected 21 bullet casings as evidence in the incident. According to the log, the shooting resulted in damages to multiple vehicles. The log listed no victims and no suspects in the incident.

Knife robbery: Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 26 after receiving a report at approximately 2:06 p.m. regarding a robbery involving a knife in the 1100 block of Outlet Collection Way Southwest. According to the department’s public information log, police investigated a robbery report in Auburn where an unknown male suspect stole a $900 generator, a backpack and merchandise. A dark gray 2003 Chevrolet served as the offending vehicle in the incident. The robbery involved one victim.

Assault with weapon: Auburn police were dispatched on Aug. 25 after receiving a report at approximately 5:35 p.m. regarding an assault involving a weapon at a residence. According to the department’s public information log, police arrested a man in the 2400 block of F Street Southeast at an apartment complex on a charge of assault in the first degree.
