Weapons offense

Auburn police responded on March 11 after receiving a report of a weapons offense at approximately 11:15 p.m. According to the department’s public information log, a drive-by shooting occurred in the 800 block of R Street Northeast. Police collected two bullet casings as evidence in the incident. The department’s log listed no victims or suspects.

Assault with a knife

Auburn police responded on March 9 after receiving a report at approximately 4:17 p.m. of an assault involving a weapon. According to the department’s public information log, a man was assaulted with a knife in the 700 block of 37th Street Southeast. The department’s log listed additional offenses of vehicle theft and misdemeanor vandalism. According to the log, a 2009 Chevy was stolen and recovered in the incident. Police collected a kitchen knife as evidence in the incident.

Domestic violence assault

Auburn police responded on March 8 after receiving a report at approximately 12:34 p.m. regarding an aggravated assault in the 12900 block of Southeast 312th Street. According to the department’s log, the department arrested and booked a man on a felony charge of domestic violence assault in the second degree. The department’s log listed one victim in the incident.
