Aggravated assault: Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 8 after receiving a report at approximately 9:18 a.m. regarding an aggravated assault in the 5700 block of Auburn Way South at the residential unit of an apartment complex. According to the department’s public information log, police arrested a man after he assaulted his girlfriend on a charge of assault in the second degree. Police collected a firearm and magazine as evidence in the incident.

DUI and reckless driving: Auburn police arrested a driver on multiple charges in regards to a DUI incident on Sept. 7 at Southeast 320th Street and 107th Place Southeast. According to the department’s public information log, police arrested an individual on charges including DUI, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license in the third degree. Police additionally cited the individual for having no proof of insurance.

Armed robbery: Auburn police were dispatched on Sept. 3 after receiving a report of a robbery involving a firearm in the 1400 block of 17th Street Southeast. According to the department’s public information log, multiple cellphones, $500 in cash, a firearm, and more were stolen from an individual. A gray 2004 GMC served as the offending vehicle in the incident. The department’s log listed no suspects.
