Evergreen Heights takes state academic award

Evergreen Heights Elementary is the 2015 State Title I Part A Academic Achievement Award winner for significantly raising student achievement in reading through specific strategies.

Evergreen Heights Elementary is the 2015 State Title I Part A Academic Achievement Award winner for significantly raising student achievement in reading through specific strategies.

The school won $10,000 to be used for professional development, team building, additional research and developing new strategies. The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction chooses the recipients.

Evergreen Heights won a National Title I Distinguished School award in 2015 for closing the achievement gap in math.
