The Auburn International Farmers Market closes Sunday.

The market – open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – will give away a kitchen gadget for scrubbing and peeling fruits and vegetable to the first 300 shoppers.

The market – in the Sound Transit Plaza, 23 A St. SW, downtown – features more than 40 vendors, offering a variety of fresh locally grown farm-based foods, hand-crafted items, and concession stand that are restaurant-based but feature a home-cooked taste.

The market, coordinated by the City of Auburn, is generously supported by the King Conservation District.

Market volunteers would like to thank everyone who helped make the market season a success.

The market includes more than 20 community partners and 15 devoted volunteers.
