Nov. 30

Aid call: 10:15 a.m., (Auburn). Firefighters helped a senior citizen who had fallen over a curb and opened up a bad cut on her nose and forehead. Firefighters bandaged the woman’s injuries, and American Medical Response (AMR) transported her to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Dec. 1

Industrial accident: 10:16 a.m., (Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medics responded to a person, gender not given, trapped under a fallen transport trailer. A co-worker acted quickly and used a forklift to lift the trailer from him or her. After determining that he or she was in stable condition, AMR transported him or her to Auburn Regional Medical Center.

Dec. 2

CPR: 2:08 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medics arrived somewhere to find an unconscious person, gender not given. Firefighters quickly started CPR after finding no respirations or pulse. Medics performed Advanced Life Support and transported him or her to ARMC.

Dec. 3

Aid call: 2:10 p.m., (Algona). Firefighters provided wound care to a young girl after a medium-size dog bit her in the face. An ambulance transported the child to Mary Bridge Hospital in Tacoma for further treatment.

Dec. 4

Motor vehicle accident: 12:30 p.m., (Auburn). Firefighters responded to a motor vehicle that had struck a house in the 5600 block of Lakeland Hills Way. Medics evaluated one patient, gender not given, and a VRFA unit transported him or her to ARMC.

Dec. 5

Motorcycle fire: 4 p.m., (Auburn) Firefighters responded to the 1400 block of 21st Street Southeast after learning about a motorcycle fire in a garage. A mechanical malfunction sparked the fire, and the homeowner drowned it with a garden hose. Nobody was hurt, but the motorcycle was a total loss. Fortunately, the paint job of the carport sustained only minor damage and the house suffered no structural damage.

Dec. 6

Aid call: 7:01 p.m., (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters helped a woman who had consumed alcohol with her prescription medication. American Medical Response transported her to ARMC for evaluation.
