Firefighter assaulted

Auburn police arrested a man on June 30 for aggravated assault in the 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street at an apartment complex. According to the department’s public information log, a suspect assaulted a firefighter at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday, June 30. Auburn police arrested and booked the man on a charge of assault in the third degree.

Drive-by shooting

Auburn police responded on June 28 after receiving a report at approximately 4:34 a.m. regarding a weapons offense. According to the department’s public information log, police received a report regarding a drive-by shooting outside a residential address in the 500 block of K Street Southeast. The shooting involved one victim and resulted in damages to two vehicles. The department’s log did not identify any suspects in the incident.

Shots fired

Auburn police were dispatched on June 27 after receiving a report at approximately 12:02 a.m. regarding an assault with a firearm. Officers investigated the shooting, in the area of the 4700 block of Auburn Way North, and collected evidence including bullet fragments and nine bullet casings. The shooting involved multiple victims and resulted in damages to property. The department’s log did not identify any suspects in the incident.

Fireworks stolen

Auburn police responded on June 28 after receiving a report at approximately 6 p.m. regarding a strong-arm robbery in the 4000 block of A Street Southeast. According to the department’s public information log, approximately $175 worth of fireworks were stolen and later recovered in the incident. Police arrested two individuals. According to the department’s log, a minor was involved in the incident.
