Fundraiser to support Auburn family, boy in need

The See Ya Later Foundation and community will host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Sept. 15 to support an Auburn family in need.

The See Ya Later Foundation and the community will host a Flapjack Fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 15 to support an Auburn family in need.

Proceeds from the benefit breakfast – from 8 to 10 a.m. at Applebee’s, 1441 D St. NE, Auburn – support an Auburn family faced with a medical crisis. Their son, Tony Aumoeualogo, a ninth-grader at Auburn High School, severely broke his leg, and the broken bone became infected.

Doctors inserted a rod from Tony’s hip to his knee. He is home now but will be in a wheelchair for quite some time, then on crutches, according to his mom, Amy.

Proceeds from the benefit will help the family with medical bills and expenses.

Tickets are $10 per person. Other items will on sale to help raise funds.

Please contact Brian Williams, of the foundation, at 253-332-5144 to purchase tickets or reserve your spot. This event is limited to 300 guests.
