Great Strides Auburn coming Saturday

Great Strides Auburn, a 5K walk to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, comes to Roegner Park on Saturday, June 6.

The walk begins at 11 a.m. at the park, 601 Oravetz Road SE.

Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event. Each year, more than 125,000 people participate in hundreds of walks across the country to raise funds for cystic fibrosis research and drug development. Nationally, Great Strides raises more than $42 million each year and locally, the Auburn event raises over $50,000.
