“We know families are on a tight budget this coming school year and that every dollar counts,” said Terry Hayes, CEO of Tacoma Goodwill. “That’s why we’ve stocked our stores with a large variety of new and gently used items to fill up that backpack or dorm room for back to school.”

The month of August is full of weekly special offerings and discounts to take advantage of all Goodwill’s Back to School items:

• August (whole month) 25 percent off kids clothes

• Aug. 12-18: 25 percent off books

• Aug. 19-25: backpack and school supply specials

• Aug. 26-30: 25 percent off furniture

Additionally, donate items during the month of August and receive a 30 percent off one item at your next visit to a Goodwill retail store.
