Karate Northwest is holding a one-day women’s self-defense seminar Aug. 28, a benefit for the Auburn Food Bank.
The session is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center, 2109 Auburn Way N.
Participants will learn how to recognize and avoid dangerous situations and be given invaluable skills in dealing with violent physical confrontation.
Cost is a $30 donation, with all proceeds going to food bank to assist women and children in abusive living environments.
