Kennedy Catholic High School students are rallying to support Oklahoma families devastated by the May 19 tornados with a Battle of the Bands contest on Tuesday.

The student leadership council decided to raise money through the event, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the school’s gym, 140 S. 140th St., Burien.

Admission is $5.

The battle pits four bands made up exclusively of Kennedy Catholic students. Many of these students play in the school’s award-winning marching band and have taken top honors in state-level competitions this year.

All money raised from admission and T-shirt sales will go to the Oklahoma Red Cross.
