KIRO-TV news anchor Steve Raible will emcee the third annual breakfast fundraiser for Reach Out, a regional, non-denominational, nonprofit organization made up of more than 23 churches, which raises money to operate winter shelters for homeless men and women in the South King County.
The breakfast is from 7 to 8:45 a.m. at Christian Faith Center, 33645 20th Ave. S., Federal Way. The cost is $25 per person.
“I am proud of the efforts of our Reach Out volunteers and look forward to assisting the organization, along with my friend Steve Raible, in meeting our goal of addressing homelessness, and poverty in South King County,” said King County Councilmemmber Pete von Reichbauer, the event’s honorary chair.
Last year, thanks to the funds received at the breakfast, Reach Out was able to operate a women and men’s shelter throughout the winter months for the most vulnerable in the South King County community.
