Recently taking the oath as the newest Auburn Troop 401 Eagle Scout was Jeremy Leist, an 18-year-old graduate of Auburn Riverside High.

Leist began his scouting career as a Cub Scout at Alpac Elementary in 2001 and joined Troop 401 in 2006.

His parents, Malcolm and Lorie Leist, have been active and supportive throughout his scouting life. Malcolm Leist remains an assistant scout master.
