Gaming tournaments and other fun activities will be part of Teen Read Week (Oct. 12-18) at the Auburn Public Library, 1102 Auburn Way S.
To celebrate, the library will hold many fun programs for teens, including a movie program and a sushi rolling demonstration.
According to Auburn teen librarian Rachel McDonald, the theme for the week is “Read for the Fun of It.”
The library’s Teen Advisory Board reminds teens and others to get involved in the library and to pick up a book.
The library has a wealth of resources, including computers to assist in homework.
It also has Study Zone tutors who can help with homework after school.
Library hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
