Three local stores in Auburn are offering boxes free of charge to residents that live in the Green River potential flood zone to assist those that are packing valuables and moving them to higher ground.
All boxes are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please do not contact the stores to check on availability of supply.
Boxes can be picked up at the following locations:
Fred Meyer, 801 Auburn Way N.
Produce boxes are available on a first come, first serve basis in the produce department in the morning after 7 a.m. Ask a produce department employee for help.
Top Foods, 1702 Auburn Way N.
Produce boxes are available on a first come, first serve basis in the produce department during store hours. Ask a produce department employee for help.
Albertsons, 1347 Auburn Way N.
Produce boxes are available on a first come first serve basis in the produce department. Ask a produce employee for help.
Flattened boxes are also available inside the store on a first come first serve basis. Ask a Customer Service representative for help.
Washington State Liquor Store, 3930 A St. SE, Suite 301, and 801 Auburn Way N., Suite E.
Beverage boxes are available on a first come, first serve basis inside the store at the front of the store during normal business hours. Children must be accompanied by an adult inside store.
