The Daughters of the American Revolution recently presented Hilda Meryhew, NSDAR Lakota Chapter regent, with a volunteer community service award.

Donna Bradshaw, NSDAR Lakota Chapter vice regent, presented the award to Meryhew, left. Meryhew was recognized for her work, giving school tours of the White River Valley Museum, the Mary Olson Farm and the Neely Mansion. She also was honored for her work with her church, the Girl Scouts and various other volunteer community activities.
