Mexican Independence Festival coming to downtown

Celebrate the many cultures of Latin America at the Mexican Independence Festival in downtown Auburn on Sunday, Sept. 13.

The family-friendly event features a parade down Main Street at 9 a.m., entertainment in the City Hall Plaza, vendors and food. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m..

KOMO/KUNS Univision hosts the event

The Auburn Downtown Association will host a booth at this event. The ADA is looking for volunteers to help with handing out coupon booklets and business guides, answering questions from guests and selling bottled water and juices.
