“Rest Easy: Finding Your Way to a Better Night’s Sleep” Seminar coming to Auburn
More than 40 percent of Americans are sleep deprived, which means 100 million people are not getting adequate sleep.
Studies also show people who suffer from sleep apnea, insomnia, and other sleep disorders are at higher risk for obesity, diabetes, heart disease, stroke and other serious health issues.
MultiCare sleep expert Terry Frantz, a registered polysom technologist, will host a free seminar, “Rest Easy: Finding Your Way to a Better Night’s Sleep” on June 23, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
“Rest Easy: Finding a Way to a Better Night’s Sleep,” will be held at the Auburn Valley YMCA, 1620 Perimeter Road. Space is limited, so advance registration is required. For more information on the seminar, or to register, go to multicare.org or call 1-800-342-9919.
Frantz will speak about a variety of sleep related disorders, their symptoms and their relationship to other health problems. He will also offer practical tips on how to sleep better and live healthier.
