A recent editorial I read explained Trump supporters are celebrating “the politics of fear,” possibly due to his policies on illegal immigrants and unvetted Muslims.
When I grew up in Alaska, right-wingers would celebrate the politics of fear. We carried a 12-gauge loaded with slugs on fishing trips in case we were attacked by an aggressive brown bear.
The more intelligent, well educated liberals would tie a little bell to their backpack. The bear would hear them coming and run away.
It just goes to show how much smarter Hillary and Bernie’s supporters are.
I also remember asking my dad the difference between moose droppings and bear droppings.
He told me that moose droppings don’t have little bells in them.
