The community can get a peek of what the new Pioneer Elementary School will look like at an open house on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the current school, 2301 M St. SE.

Between 6 and 7 p.m., families can meet the school board, members of the capital projects department and the architect as the district unveils the plans for the new Pioneer.

In November 2016, the Auburn community passed a $456 million bond package to build two new elementary schools and replace six schools. Pioneer Elementary will be replaced, and a new Pioneer will open in the fall of 2021.
