Late-night drivers who use both southbound and northbound State Route 167 near the I-405 interchange should prepare for overnight lane and ramp closures in Renton all of next week.
Starting Monday evening, June 26, construction crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation plan to close multiple lanes and nearby ramps on both directions of SR 167 to install new sign structures. These closures are necessary to continue construction activities for the I-405/SR 167 Interchange Direct Connector Project.
Upcoming lane closures
• Monday, June 26, to the morning of Friday, June 30 – Three right lanes on southbound SR 167 between the northbound I-405 off-ramp and the South 43rd Street off-ramp will be closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
• Monday, June 26, to the morning of Friday, June 30 – Two right lanes on northbound SR 167 between the South 180th Street on-ramp and I-405 will be closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Upcoming ramp closures
• Monday, June 26, to the morning of Friday, June 30 – The southbound I-405 to Rainier Avenue South off-ramp will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
• Monday, June 26, to the morning of Friday, June 30 – The southbound I-405 to southbound SR 167 ramp will be closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. A signed detour will be in place.
