The Pacific/Algona Community Center will hold a large garage sale from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Items will include furniture, household goods, ready-to-sew fabrics and much more.

Proceeds will help the Stone Soup free meal program.

The community center is located at 100 3rd Ave. SE, Pacific.

In addition, the community center’s gym will host a “Spring Fling” fundraiser this Saturday night from 7:30-10:30. Proceeds will benefit the community center and Pacific Partnerships to help offset expenses incurred by the recent floods.

The band, “Fire Brigade,” will perform. Hot dogs, chili dogs, chips, soda, coffee and water will be served.

There is no admission charge. Generous donations will be accepted.
