A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on west bound State Route 164 at 408th early Saturday morning, Feb. 1.
The man, 30-year-old Daniel Moses of Auburn, died later at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
“The preliminary information I have is that he was walking in the lane of travel,” Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson said of the victim Monday afternoon.
“The investigators are still looking into it, but from what I understand based on what the individual who was driving the car said, there is no criminal investigation in reference to him. Unfortunately, why the person was in the lane of travel has not yet been determined, but it doesn’t look like the driver’s fault,” Johnson said.
